Hi. Im not sure if they are textures or sprites. They are not applied to any model and only on backgrounds for decoration and landscape. Im trying to rip the animated plants and other moving things in Conker's Bad Fur Day. I can successfully rip textures but not sprites with the Lemmy that gives me the best results but it won't dump individual frames like lets say the dancing flowers and all those unused dancing plants.
I already know there a lot of these that can be found on cutting room floor but they are ripped in poor quality so Im trying to rip the dancing plants both used and unused in the best quality I can get but Lemmy is not good enough and only it gives me one frame at a time including duplicates! its also time consuming if you don't know how much frames the dancing plants have unless you count but Lemmy makes it hard to see due to Lemmy's terrible capability with later N64 games that supports the expansion pack. Other games that don't need expansion from mid to late 90s are usually easier to rip without distraction from Lemmy's graphic problems that makes the screen turn white and hides most of the camera even if they are present from the player's surroundings but not view.
I tried GlideN64 and its complicated to install it if you don't know which version is right to get but its the QT 86x one. It did work for me and the only issue with it is bad quality rips with the plants but strangely the floors and walls rip fine. I guess it wasn't meant for certain textures that are not applied to a model or background?
Another better way is Texture64 but I can't understand how to use it because of the weird garbled colors that covers everything and Im trying to figure out how to make things visible with this tool if there really is anything there.
Let me know if theres a better alternative for ripping N64 textures and sprites with individual frames!
