so, this is one of those lucas arts games, it was fairly good for it's day, I of course have the original cartridge, because it was actually really good gameplay, akin to the legend of zelda or similar titles. it was of course level-based not open-world.

Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, it's a highly suggested must-play title if you like n64 action-adventures and indianajones and don't mind Face-Stickers (not face-huggers, this isn't alien, a FaceSticker is where the face is a static image slapped on the UVs. the arms weren't the best either, but this was n64 we are talking about player characters really shouldn't be more than like 256 polygons, well, they can be more but then you're subtracting from textures or polygons elsewhere).

For many years I have not found an out of box emulator that can get past the start screen. however, pj64 with glide can infact play the game upto the initial level, after which it encounters a fatal error and emulation is stopped.

I was actually surprised it can be played at all, it's a major improvement in emulation from years back. but obviously there is still work to be done.

if you know how to run this game emulated so as to get past the initial level, please let us know here. also if you have any contact with pj64's discord please ask them about this for me, as I am unable to get on discord. see if they have any ideas how to get past the first level, or if they already plan to develop a better system which can fix the error.
