Hello everyone!
so with the release of Freedom Wars remastered I'd love to dig into messing with the models, however I can't seem to find the tools that I need (they may not exist lol)
The file formats seem similar to the Xenoverse series, but not quite the same. Where Xenoveres' models are a .emd format Freedom Wars uses a .nmd. They both use .emb and .emm for texturing though.
I know Bandai tends to use similar file formats for their games, and was wondering if anyone had any experience with converting this kind of file to something like .fbx or ideally a plugin that could import the .nmd directly into a program like blender
Thanks in advance for any help offered
UPDATE:
So I wanted to test just how similar the file formats were (.nmd and .emd). So I just changed the .nmd to .emd and the xenoverse tools were able to read an convert the file to an fbx!
have to figure out how to get the skeleton in there with it, but the ripping itself is fairly easy
