Hello all, I am new to this web fourm but I have been using models and sounds resource for a long while.

I have recently noticed when using models and sounds resource in chrome that the website is lagging whenever the top of the page is displayed. When scrolling down the page to a point the header is no longer visible the lag stops.

I tested the website on edge and the issue is not present but for some reason on chrome it is.

Is there any fix for this? I've already cleared my browser's cache.
Happens to me as well, CPU usage shoots way high when at the top of the page, and gets worse if i try scrolling up there
I haven't been able to reproduce this in any of my testing. I do see a momentary spike in CPU usage when the page first loads as a whole but the header's position on screen doesn't seem to have any impact on it. I imagine the ad placements might be part of the issue you're seeing but again, I'm only seeing a very brief change in CPU usage when they're pulled in and it then drops right back down to normal.

It's also strange that this happens in Chrome but not Edge given that they use the same rendering engine. Is it possible you have an extension enabled in Chrome that might be involved here?

It still happens even if I disable my extensions. I'm not sure what could be the issue...
Would you be able to grab a screen recording of it happening? If possible, with the website, the developer console, and task manager visible.

I've restarted my computer and updated Chrome, and the problem appears to have disappeared so far...
