i recently unpacked Bubsy in Fractured Furry Tales (an Atari Jaguar game) using a program called RNC ProPack. however, there were several "Packed CRC is wrong!" errors during unpacking. when i extracted one of the RNC files (bubsy's "Keep it up, just keep it up!" voice line, located at 001DE460) with HxD and imported it as Raw Data, the sound is just static and i can faintly hear said voice line in the background.

vgmstream just says "Invalid frame size (864): Could not seek to 17979." when trying to open it.

this is not a Raw Data settings issue (afaik anyways) since opening the extracted "Oh, sure, let's all torture the Bubster!", "Who do I look like, Flubber?" and "Nothing can stop me now!" bin files does not result in static. what's going on here?

i use the Signed 8-bit PCM encoding, 16000Hz sample rate, and 1 channel settings when importing as Raw Data in Audacity.

here is the extracted RNC file if anyone else wants to figure it out (in a ZIP file because it wouldn't let me upload the RNC itself):
