Images are worth a thousand words.
Thanks Gorsal that looks awesome.
I look into what you did and try to make my sprite a lot better.
It's really great.
I'll look into the pallet and see what you did with the colors to make it awesome.
Sorry for the double post but here's the new homer simpson:
I think that the shading is good but the yellow color is not good.

I think he slouches too far back... maybe try and find shading more suited to Homer?
What does slouches means?
Yeah I'll get a better yellow to fit homer more.
The rest of the shading is quite good, right?

You know, like he's not standing up straight. It looks like he's leaning back a bit.
Oh ok then I'll change that.
I didn't really noticed that.
Here's the reference:

I took a crappy Mario Sprite from like the 60 and made this.

Sorry for the double post again.
C+C is welcome.
I think I'm getting good at shading but you guys be the judges.
Shading still looks bad, would recommend looking at other people's work and official sprites.
Homer's line art hasn't been changed enough or at all to make it look like anything more than a poor Homer doodle.
No idea what the hell you want anyone to say about the Mario.

Please stop just thanking people and actually take on board what they are saying...

Sorry for the double post again.
i didn't know mario existed in like the 60's
are you like 10 or something?
Two things Goemasr I am taking on board what they are saying and I fixed homer's shading and made him less slouching.
I'll look more at shading.
By the way the other mario was really bad but forget it.

NO bro I'm not 10 I just said that cause it looked really old.
To be a bit "nicer" then...

Try moving Homer's arms up a bit, that'll probably fix it up quite a bit.

Edit: Here is a quick ass edit to show what I'm on about. This was done in 2 seconds and thus should only be used as guidance...

Should I move it more?
Is it good now?
Thank for the edit by the way.

Anyways here's the new Homer J. Sipsom in a similar style to the Tales of Eternia style.
It still needs work but I think I improved a lot in this one.

Seriously Mabelma, all you did in that sprite was copy the circle given to you and then make an even worse body than before.
I know it's a crappy one but did you actually see the last one?
