I tried elaborating with the third one a bit more. So tell me what you think. Do you guys still want me go back to the original?

Yes.

Thats nice, but you used the wrong one. Switch the feet to the original, because thats the only one of the three that looks good

1 or 2.

I say 1, because it looks more platformer-ish, since Mario games are mostly platformers

Is this a Mario game or a Smash Bros. game though.

Thing is, they had pipes like the first one in the smash bros games, look in Mushroomy Kingdom, Isle Delphino, and Mario/Luigi's intros

I tried it just now, but it ended up looking too Overworldly.
EDIT:

The Coins, for the Coin Punch. And the Fire Balls, for the Fire Toss.

Just round it out a tiny bit. Right now, it looks like some sort of rectangle or something.

I like the first pipe way more. And wow, Iceman, you sure have improved. I think the fireballs could use a bit more orange though.

definately 1, the shading is also very nice. Going with Ton on the fire, it seems a tad too snes or whatnot. Try less whitish and more yellow (whitish yellow)
