True, since most of them are just in sprite form (Though some better than others.) It would be pretty good to rip the effects.

Sprites here for Pikachus idle poses, along with the world-famous 'face-scratch'

The top of his head there it meets his ear looks a bit dark. Great job though! Thanks for doing this, you're really a local hero here.

DeepSeaTooth, thanks for taking some initiative with the project here.

At any rate, in the one frame where his eyes are closed, his eyes seem a little bit too wide. Other than that, I don't see too much wrong. Then again, I've never had much of an artist's eye, so I'm not one to consult about this kinda stuff.

It looks like his down+B attack.

I does remind me a lot of his Down+B attack. (That's the one with lightning from the sky right?)

Aah, thanks for clearing that up.

Anyway, minor edits

Pikachu's closer ear looks really weird and broken in some frames. They're not supposed to connect to his head like that, and sometimes they're misshapen too

Had some free time, and I just tried whipping up a B neutral and Side smash... without the effects, that is. Please, by all means feel free to edit.



EDIT: Forgot to mention I also tried fixing that "broken" look of the ears in the idle.

And just so it's clear, the bottom one is the side smash. The first sprite of which is the one held when charging.

Don't you think that his rear legs (thighs) should extend a bit outward?

It looks as if he only has feet, and no legs at all?

At least in this image there is still an outline of his thigh.

Your edit isn't chubby enough. Also, his left back leg is too slanted and skinny compared to the other leg

Okay then. I made a new body from scratch. That is with exception to the head and tail.

Is he chubby enough now? Perhaps someone else should take a crack at it?

To me he looks a little thinner now. I liked your original a lot though, so I just went ahead and made it slightly chubbier. Is that what you meant, DeepSeaTooth?



And I also changed the legs for the smash attack too-- I really liked your edit for them. I was silly to leave such a thing out.

And yeah... heh, I was feeling a little fancy, so I made a really lame signature thingy...
