I think the yellow portions need more highlight. They don't appear to be shiny.
Other than that, if I don't get to critical and OCD like I usually do, looks great!

Samus, once again. I made a Super Metroid version and a Prime/Other M version, tell me what you think about.

The second is much better. Good job for being able to put her into a side-on pose

personally i prefer the super metroid design, but they're both nice

Other M version's better in my eyes. I like the larger shoulders and the heels.

Um... Other M's Samus is the one with shorter shoulders. The Super Metroid/Prime 1 version is the one with larger shoulders. You may need to copy and paste the links to see.
The SM/Prime 1 Samus does look better, but may be harder to sprite frames for due to the large shoulders and details present that are not on the Other M's version of Samus's Varia Suit.

Oh oops. I guess I thought they were the reverse because that's how he listed them. Super Metroid looks better to me then. ^^;

Well, i guess i made a mistake about Other M, but i'm pretty sure that the link you sent is the Super Metroid 'Varia' Suit, and not the 'Power' Suit.
Here the link that prove it.^^
Just some details, though. Otherwise, i still don't know which one i have to continue. :p

what i meant was that the smaller shoulderpads looked better. still, they both look good

I hate the how pointy the Other M suit it though. What's the point in all those... points?

@Cookie, he's referring to how the design of the Other M suit has so many angular things in it, especially compared to the largely more smooth, organic designs of previous games, especially the Metroid Prime series. Don't worry; it's not your fault.
I'm thinking they probably did it to make her look edgier, since they pushed the game as being much more about intense action, and because of her grappling attacks.
I personally like the bigger shoulder pads of the sprite on the right, with the feet from the sprite on the left. The flatter feet better portray strength; the heels on the other one just look like they'd make it harder for her to do all her athletic moves.
I think the shading on the gun looks a bit weird, but otherwise, I think it looks pretty good.

I think the heels (of the boots) needs to be thicker in order to used that arched-sole look (otherwise they look like heels, refer to the kind of shoe). Sploder's right, it looks like it wouldn't give the right support for her to do all of those movements. However, I think the flat foot looks stranger, and I don't recall her Varia-Suit ever having a flat foot.
