What do you mean tall? My edit is the same hight as yours.
But I realy think we should keep the cheeks wher eI put them, they just look like ugly bags on yours. >.>
Sorry. It appears taller, because of the moving of the face, mixed with the incorrect shape at the top.
I'm not really sure which is better. The bottom of Kirby's eyes are always places so that if you draw a line b/ them, in cut his body in approx. perfect 1/2s. But with this size body, and limits of pixels, they both do that =ly well. Which one is more correct, is unknown. I think that my placement of the face looks more correct.
?
I actually like Kirbyfan's more. It looks the most like Kirby, and has the least awkward stance.
Arthur's latest one looks unbalanced, since the legs are at 3\4, while his face is closer to profile.
What Sploder said. But one thing that he's missing in his argument, is the body shape. It HAS to be spherical.
Uh, profile would be if you could only see one of his eyes and his arm was in the side of his body.
Okay, so after looking at the sprites and such I changed mine to be absolutely symetrical from every side, and then realized you mean more circular and all that so I changed it to be that too, and then it was similar to your green underlined one (except that your green underlined one isn't symetrical)
And, uh I couldn't help but notice that you made your original kirby with the circle tool.
We all know that the circle tool doesn't make good circles
But really all I care about is that you move his cheeks. Seriously google image kirby and not a single one of the pictures will have his cheeks under his eyes like that, they are all of to the side. Like I said, they just look like bags under his eyes where you put them.
(Okay I lied, upon closer inspection the cover art of Crystal Shards has them sorta where you do, but every other picture has them where I do.)
So yes, fix the cheeks and I can sod off (and maybe find a nice inbetween of our arms)
^Oh yeah, I totally missed that. Of course, you'd also have to move the cheek blushes up a pixel, too.
If I were to make Jigglypuff, could I use that sphere in the "merged kirby" post?
Go for it.
Fixed cheeks. Yeah. I agreed with you. Just forgot to change.
Try one more with the face shifted to the right one more pixel.
I like it.
I think that's the winner. What do you guys think?
