I don't like Josh's head. I think his head should be more bowed forward. Also, I think it's too short. Like the way his forehead stick out and so does his snout; the space between them should be greater. I know it's a cartoony style, but he looks really goofy like that. And the top of his pink belly should be a lot closer to his chest. Currently there's too much space. Also the shading on the right (Mewtwo's left) thigh is really blocky.

@Thermic, doesn't he float only when he's moving?

@Wes, I think Josh's head looks the best. I'll agree with you on the other points about the body, though. I also don't think the arms look quite right; they look rather noodly, and I'm not sure that the area where his arm connects to his torso should be that dark.

Yeah, he only floats when he moves.

I fixed the head a bit. What was really bothering me was the way the snout sticked out so much. I think this is better.

I like it.

What do you think of him with the snout rounded off?

Ah, ok I see what you mean...I always disliked how they changed Mewtwo's face for Melee...I was making him more like he would look in his own series, rather than Smash Bros.

and maybe we should decide on Pink or Purple...Pink relates more to Melee & Brawl's (Trophy) Mewtwo, but Purple might fit better with this project, since it is cartoony...

Edit: Forgot to mention, I added a Floating pose just to see which you guys like more (Yeah, I know I screwed up the Sideways leg)

If we use purple it should be paler.

Mewtwo is supposed to be standing on his toes, like he is floating and only slightly touching the ground.

I just did a search for "mewtwo melee" and every screenshot I could find with him showing his whole body had his heels raised, but his toes on the ground. Pretty much how Josh did it.

I like the ones with the slightly longer snout.

Wes's head edit makes Mewtwo look less like Charizard, so it's good to me.

As for tail color, purple could work, but you'd have to make a new purple. Pink is fine, too. Really, doesn't Melee have purple as a recolor, anyway?
