Wip idle, based off of this sprite. I dunno if the leaning is too far or not. I will make his tunic skirt ruffle and his hair bounce. Also the speed is a little fast, but so far, how is it?
(BTW the sprite is Nin's edit, with some very minor changes from me. Anyone see any problems with it?)

The animation is too fast and I think his left sideburn should move more like his right one.
The hair should probably move a bit too
EDIT:the animation speed should be more like this:
I know, uploading it messed up the speed, it isn't supposed to be this fast. But to compensate, I'm speeding the animation down a lot. Also, the sideburns are already moving the same way. I can't really make one move more like the other since they're already the same.
Also, I worked on the hair and tunic a bit, as well as the speed.
Less back and forth movement. Make him only move one pixel in the direction on each frame.
???
The way you got him posed is kinda weird. I'm telling you we're gonna have to make him face directly sideways. That way we can flip him and his shield positioning easier.
I know we're all hell bent on making every character "3/4" positioning. But I don't think its gonna work.
I don't like how the hair makes a small line on the right side of his head when he's leaning more to the left.
Hows this? (in the red box)
I think he looks more 'cartoonish' with the 3/4 view. Link would be better with a 4/4 view, and we need to make them both look more individual
idle
I copied the body movement almost exactly from the old head position, so I dunno if it works well when he's facing a different direction. Oh well. I tried it anyway. How does it look?

I liked the 3/4 view version better :[
Same, but I wanted to try this view anyway.
