The problem with the Four Swords FS is this; what is you're not green Link? Then you summon red, blue and purple when you're already playing as one of those. Maybe there's some kind of palette check we can do to make sure that doesn't happen.

If we can't overcome that problem (I think we should be able to) we can always make his FS the Cucco Storm.

YES, there can be one golden cuccoo, that is instant ko (Home run bat style), and is really fast, that hides in the cloud of about 10 other white cuccoos.
I don't know if this would be a solution, but... You can do something like Manaphy's power. For example, Red and Blue go to the right of stage and Purple and Green go to the left.
When Toon Link uses his FS, the player's control would dissapear and when the FS finishes, the control appears in the Toon Link that you are ussing.

Hm, that could work. Like he splits into all four? He could split in a flash and then go back together in a flash so it doesn't matter what color you are.
What about the cuccoo idea? Is that still usable?

I was going to put in every character/enemy that could be used, then scratch them off or add more depending on what the rest of the TSR members thought.
Honestly the Four Swords FS would work out a lot cooler (imo) if when it's used, TL splits into four, and the other three are level 9 CPUs. When the time runs out, they jump back into him.
But that would again create the problem of link's pallettes. If red link splits and red, blue, and purple link come out, then it's wrong.
Or they are just clones that follow you around in an Ice Climber fashion. But Cucco make mroe sense than pigs, because there were only pigs in WW. MC, FSA, and PH all had Cuccos. But Cuccos would make a good AT, too.
Another thing to consider would be continuity with other characters. In Brawl, all of the sword users had similar Final Smashes where you would position yourself near a target and then use the attack. If you aim well and hit with it, you do a huge attack. Marth, Ike, Link, and Metaknight all have this.
I think it should just be a pre-planned attack pattern. Like Link or Meta Knight, but closer to the Kat and Ana AT.
