Well then again, there were the versions in the N64 that were blue and had no spikes at all, so I guess yours is good.
Im going to have to say everything in this topic is amazing, your one hell of a spritier! Excellent style, and I cant wait to see more from you :]
Sorry guys I've been slacking. Here, have an Angry Sun WIP.
Should I include the "rays" as a paste-under body or opt for a more realistic (though given a cartoony touch, of course) glow effect?
Thanks man.
Updated first post with the current version of the sheet, ignore the Crystal Bits and the horribly off-model Mandibug (didn't have access to a reference at time of making and it has been a while since I've played Galaxy, will update soon).
The credit tag is there just so I won't have to make one should I decide to want to submit it somewhere.
A Mandibug from Mario Galaxy.
Absolutely awesome, I love it, my favorite so far
those are sweet
Although the implementation of the designs and shading are both good, the angle of the sprite seems to change in every character. Goomba almost seems as if he's walking straight towards the screen, whilst the Bullet Bill is almost vertical.
I'll try and keep the perspective more constant.
"Finished" the Lakitu, but I don't like how it turned out at all so I'm remaking it from scratch.
Very smooth animation. It looks well done!
I don't like how the Lakitu looks so big though. I always have that problem when spriting Lakitus. That's mainly why I want to redraw it.
freakin awesome. are you making a mario rpg game with them?
Shouldn't the "front" of the cloud be in front of his face when it bobs up though?
Woo, I love these. I'd like to see them in their original size though. Are you sure you like them 200%?
