I may be good at ripping, but when it comes to doing it from scratch, not so much. This is obviously WIP and thus contains NO shading (so no "add shading" comments).

However I would like to know how I could improve the line art.

The hair looks straggly instead of like your avatar's. Maybe make the strands thick and flowing instead of thin and random?

Right, completely changed the hair. Might need moving around a bit, and there's a bit of blockiness to it, but I think it's a decent attempt.
