Official Nintendo Magazine (UK) review:

Great review. Only negative point was the shallow muliplayer. Mentioned that they lost to Title Defense Glass Joe. "Before defending the belt against him though, a cut-scene shows him going to the doctor. The doctor show him an X-ray and explains that his jaw is weak, giving him a headguard to protect it. As a result, punches to the head no longer faze him." So, even more cutscenes (probably the cartoon stills) againt Title Defense fights. Excellent.

My god. If what they say is true, then Bald Bull is going to be impossible.
EDIT: Thank god though. Now it's not going to be easy even if you know the characters well.
"Developer's Choice - Punch-Out" is now on the Nintendo Channel. Nothing too interesting or new, but is worth a viewing.
Fantastic! A Glass Joe that can kick your ass!
Manny Pacquiao is the secret character.
I'm incredibly excited for this, it will end up being the next game I've bought for the Wii in a good while!
I dont care what they call him. He's still Piston Honda to me.
With him at the official site now, it begs the question: What order is the Major Circuit in?
I expect Great Tiger to be the champion. He looked hardest in the GamesRadar videos. With the new magic moves, and all.

I think it will be:
Piston Hondo
Don Flamenco
Bear Hugger
Great Tiger
I would be pissed if BH was the champ(even if I'm myself Canadian)
He just don't seem hard enough
Great Tiger, however, looks perfect for it
We havent seen any in-game footage of Flamenco or Bear Hugger yet though. I wouldve assumed Honda was the champ until the GamesRadar footage. Great Tiger seems to have a whole new attack style altogether. One of his moves looks like something Hoy Quarlow did in Super Punch-Out. And that was the third to last fight in the game!
And they had to have added enough new stuff to Bear Hugger to make him a Major Circuit contender in the first place. While I think it's unlikely he'll be the champ, I won't count it out until we see him (and Flamenco, even) in action.
I expect Bear Hugger to be the second fight in the Major Circuit, though. He was only the second fight in the SNES game, so it would be pretty uncharacteristic of him to be too high up.
Also:
New Flamenco render (I guess dark Flamenco is his Title Defense) and
IGN has new videos (They're retarded to think Von Kaiser is Russian).
If Soda Popinski and Super Macho Man aren't in this I will be sad. And if they're digging up Super Punch Out characters, I hope they use Dragon Chan and Bob Charlie.
