I kinda wish I could get the hang of 6 frame running animations tbh. :\
Make the head itself bounce a bit. Also if ipixl actually happened it would revolutionize this kinda' stuff.

well, I have a tip when doing 6 frame running animations. Just make a normal 4 frame running animations and fit two more transition frames between them. It works with me.
About the sprite... it's really nice
I'm going to use it as a reference for my Alex Kidd project!
Are the arms coming out of the...neck? It's still really choppy and the bounce could be better.
Initial sprite is good though.

I think the colors of the grass might be too saturated.
I'd say make it bluish green or average green.
Yea the color of the grass is a little too bright.
iso, I'd make the grass blades thinner. Adding some random bushes would be nice, too.
I'm not sure, now looking at it I think everything could be a bit darker, like the ground should look normal brown and the grass look normal green. The character seems to more fitting with regular colors and nothing too bright, but that may be just me, but I would test it out though just to see how it looks.
