I ran into a little trouble on this one. I will have to check this thread and the origional Smash Bros Project thread to see if I can hunt down the pallete. Credit to whoever made ZSS though and the origional ripper of the official sprite though.

I don't think they had a pallet... either that or they decided to add it later and I didn't know so.... either way I look stupid for speaking up....

There is no offical pallete.

So just make your colors look good!

@JLizard, please no Adventures outfit for Krystal...

Want me to finish the rest Gaia? Not much of a problem.

So, what's the point of restricting characters? I mean, if no one here is actually planning to use every sprite you guys produce, why both saying who can or can't be done? I mean, some people might wanna include more than Nintendo characters in a Smash game, right? ... Even though that'd be incredibly stupid.

Yes, indeed. But why stop someone from spriting it while contributing to the project? Sure, it's senseless to consider anime characters in Smash, but it's equally senseless to exclude them from a fantasy Smash. The way I see it, that restriction is only counterproductive to the project. Juss' sayin'.

Alright, you can, I would start animating the Idle afterwards. I'm not THAT GOOD when spriting someone as overdetailed as that from the waist up. I'll probably just start on the walking/running frames perhaps, shouldn't be that hard to do. (though it would be MSPaint colors, haven't found a decent colorset yet)

Is the pink thing from a video game?

It appears to be his friend, Lalala.. but it's missing a bow.. so I don't know. I may also try to finish up my Rokusho AT. but first, Neku's running frames. (I know he has only running sprites to move in-battle and OW in the whole game, I might try to add the walking frames)

After all, guns would be pretty cheep and wouldn't offer mele abilities what so ever... unless she hit's people with the barrel... painfull indeed, but not as cool as a staff...
