working on zoras still
should the zoras be blue or white?
the sprites make them look white
but in the official art they are blue

Surely a floating animation would just be the sprite going up and down with some minor arm movement though?
And tongue movement. You can just make it bob.

Make their lightest shade white, then use the blues I have on the palette to shade them, to make them seem a bit more blue. I'll make any fixes if need be.
HOWEVER, King Zora should be more blue than the others, so his brightest shade should be the brightest blue.
Can I do the windmill man from seasons?

so i will let you decide
ViperShark: By all means, go for it.
EMB: Okey dokey.
the zora elder was based on the official art rather than the sprite but with the red staff rather than the brown seashell one
blue or white?
My vote would be on the white one
White.
Also, in this style, the Zora elder would be the same size as the plain zora.
Here. Your's was out of style...sorry to say, but big time. Did you read the tutorial in the first post?
I've made a small edit to him.
yeah...
should I carry on working on them
and what poses would need to be done
edit:
here's an update on zora elder
hope it's more in-style
will probably update zora elder further because his face looks very wide
ZE should be a bit more hunched...just sayin...he's an old guy after all. (not trying to stereo type)
All we would need is front, side, and back walking poses for all of them.
would that be achieved just by lowering and extending his head a bit?
i'll start on the walking
And shade his abdomen. So just lower his head and shoulders, and his hand is far too high up on his staff. Try lowering it to his waist, perhaps abdomen. And the ouline only applies to areas that are on edges, that goes for the staff too.
the deepest red shade to outline the staff?
here is the update
