BUMP!! A new sheet is on the way, and quite a fast one this time. Cue the theme "Nemesis", everybody!
Metroid: ZERO Mission - Ridley
Same reason as the Kraid sheet, I do know there's a sheet on the site already, but... Again, no offense.
Anyway, this is a full tilerip of Ridley from M:ZM, with all tiles and SFX. Since I'm such a nice guy, and since the sheet would've been a bit too small without them, I've also included pre-assembled tile pieces for those who are lazy. Also included is an edited neck piece from yours truly, to use while he's turning. Using the normal tiles it would've looked slightly scrunched or something.
As always, check the first post for the sheet.
USELESS(Not) TRIVIA: According to the Super Metroid OST, "Nemesis" is the name of Ridley's theme when you fight him. Ever since "Super Metroid", there've been variations and remixes of the BGM which marked his appearance, notable ones being Meta Ridley's theme from the "Metroid Prime" trilogy and a certain arrangement of the theme from Super Smash Bros. BRAWL.

New sheet incoming, everybody! ...And without a huge bump this time, it seems... Cue the theme "Twisted Intelligence"!
...I would've done "Cyclopian Horror", but, heh...
Metroid: ZERO Mission - Mother Brain
Again, someone had to do it right... but really right.
Anyway, this is a full(I hope) tilerip of the Mother Brain itself from M:ZM. It should be every tile and SFX, which means I've also included a couple of things in its chamber. Glass dome, Zeebetites... And I hope the Zeebetite's palette is right.
If you're wondering why I've put it in pieces only and why there's no under-glass palette, here's the reasons:
1. Mostly the same reason as Kraid, putting the sheet in pieces will make it easier to use, and will save you a huge aneurism(Trust me on this one.).
2. The glass dome actually uses some sort of transparency effect in-game. It says so in the sheet as well.
As always, check the first post for the sheet. Man, was this one confusing...
USELESS(Yeah, right) TRIVIA: "Twisted Intelligence" and "Cyclopian Horror" are the names of two BGM tracks from Super Metroid(Again, according to the SM OSV). The first one plays in Tourian(Another version of the BGM can also be heard in M:ZM Tourian), while the second is heard when fighting Mother Brain's second form. FUN FACT: Did you know that "Twisted Intelligence" is based from the tune heard when fighting Kraid and Ridley in the original Metroid?

I KNEW that! I thought they sounded similar to each other!

Well, I do assume it is based from that tune. The theme variation from Metroid: ZERO Mission is slightly easier to guess, as it's more true to the original(The theme from Super Metroid differs a bit from the main track).
In other news, time for a NEW SHEET!! Man, I'm on a roll here!
Ptolemaic Soldier - Metal Slug 5
Yup, I'll be back at ripping Metal Slug sprites for the moment... I could've ended my trip in the Metroid universe with a bang and rip Mecha Ridley, but, heh...
Anyway, this time we've got the Ptolemaic Soldier from MS5. It should be all frames and SFX related... well, to the main one, at least.
If you're wondering where's the shield one and the motorcycle-riding one, they'll come on separate spritesheets. I figure those varieties alone have enough sprites in their data to warrant them a sheet of their own.
As always, check out the first post for the sheet.

Not-so-huge(I think) bump... coming this way... looks like a new sheet is coming. Where's the classification at?!?
Motorbike Troops - Metal Slug 5
Told ya they'd get their own sheet. Speaks for itself, these are the Ptolemaic soldiers from MS5... in motorcycles. It just SCREAMS "centaur"(Or how do you guys call those motorbike-riding punks) if you ask me.
*Gets hit by a bunch of thrown objects*
...Okay, that wasn't funny... Anyway, I think the only hard part of the ordeal was the colorization process. Mainly because part of the colors were slightly incorrect.
It is worth noting that, according to the "Metal Slug: Missing in Action" trivia site, the normal Ptolemaic soldier variety is unused. The Elite Ptolemaic variety does appear in the game(Mission 4, if I'm not mistaken), but there are appearently no signs of the second variety.
As always, check the first post for the sheet. Next should be the shielded soldiers, I suppose...

Slight bump here. For there's something new coming... or is it?
The Ptolemaic soldier sheet has been updated with the frames with the shield. Thought I could've made it a separate sheet and call it a day, but seems like it wasn't a possibility. Long story short, I said "Forget it" and put the shielded frames in the main sheet.
First post is where the sheet is, as usual. Look for a sky blue-like "Updated" beside the sheet's name.
In other news, I'm officially ready to tackle Metal Slug 7(And about DANG time.). Anybody who's willing to share their experience in tile ripping, not to mention NDS sprite ripping, come on in and give a shout.

You can hit me up on an Instant Messenger for what I've found with MS7 and my experience of Tile Ripping. It's pretty complex, but hopefully I can be of some help in various ways.
Although I suggest you PM RTB first, and find out what he knows of it so far

The guys at MSDB's already in the game. Hell, they even finished ripping Slug Gigant. I think they have how to view/rip post in the topic somewhere.
