Awesome job! Really sweet!

Aha!
You sir, are excellent. If I had the power of Knighting I'd make you the Sprite Knight! You're excellent at this. You're also one of the people who can actually put a small comic in the credits and have it be slightly amusing. I'm not fond of giant credits tags (or credits tags at all), but yours are acceptable as they are out of the way and not woven into the sprites like some are. I also like how if a description of use is needed, you supply it, and also in an out of the way method. I'm also impressed by the fact you ripped that damn Bullet Tower.
A few things I'd like to see from you are the basic rebellion soldier and how you'd organize the alien enemies (Mars People). What really sucks though is the fact that Metal Slug 6 is not able to be ripped yet. I'd love to see the Venusians ripped, but unfortunately that's not likely to happen any time soon.
Keep up the great work. You're incredible in your ability of making complete sheets of Metal Slug sprites. I notice those most of all. More Metal Slug! I'm counting on you to supply the awesome completeness and fullness of Metal Slug sprite sheets. If you need any help just let me know.

@Carpaccio: ...Why, thank you. You just made me blush with that. And yeah, that Bullet Tower rip was truly not a cakewalk, trust me(Didn't think I'd have survived that...).
A basic Rebel Soldier sheet, you say? Heh, that'd be even more tedious than some of my big sheets(Maybe even than Eri), considering their frame number throughout the entire series is... well, I won't be surprised if it surpassed the 1000. Even if we don't count their sprites with weapons and such. Still, that wouldn't be a bad idea...*Thinking*
As for the Martians... you know, I did actually plan to rip them once. Might as well try it again. After all, what do I have to lose?
@HyperSonic92: It's not just Omega, it's pretty much any custom sprite on the site that disappeared. I think the custom sprite section has yet to be added to the site(Correct me if I'm wrong, Dazz.).

Yes, the 'custom sprite' section has YET to be added. That's the big deal with the site right now. At least yours will be near the top of the list of custom sprites TO add to the site, when they get there.

If searching "Metal Slug sprite" in Google Images, there is a "Ther Mad Soldier" website that haves a Spritesheet of the Rebels (The normal rebels with lots of stuff and the alternate uniforms)
I am ripping now Aeshi Nero and Jupiter King...But i don't want rip all the SFX....Anyone here can "give a hand"?
And myself am ripping the Martian guys already.....
I already have the Iddle, Shooting and a complete IN-Mini-Ufo Poses...
And i just recolored a machinegun shoot to green, to the Mini-Ufo's shoot

Just to let you know, Gussprint... While I've got your other spritesheets on tSR now (finally), there's one I couldn't upload -- the Slug Gunner. ImageShack deleted the link for some stupid reason, so I couldn't get the sheet... Could you re-upload it, please, if you still have it on your computer?
01-28-2009, 02:22 AM
Hm... odd. I'll reupload it in a bit. *Goes off*
*Comes back* All set.

Gussprint, I have a question about your Ptolemaic Wall Crawler Sheet...
In the credit tag, there is a Character in the bottom left part of the tag, riding the stone Turtlle...I wanna know if there is a sheet of it anywhere...Cause i really liked...
And also i can't find the MS Sprites with the "Extended" pallet anywhere...

I'm surprised you didn't recognize good ol' Crash Bandicoot.
But yeah, that's what he is. Was an old custom sprite I made for him(Heavily based on a MM8 Cutman sprite, for the record). Of course, I updated the sprite since then... which reminds me to make a note for myself: Stop being a lazy douche and work on those custom sprites already.
Also, that "Extended" palette you find on some of my MS rips are just a little extra I added just for kicks. I'm not the kind of guy who really adheres to palette limits, you see...

Aaah...Crash Bandicoot....
I was almost sure it was him.....(I know a lot of character wich ones looks like him...)

the Drop Tank's Real name is PTOLEMAIC SARUBIA....
The "number of it" was in japanese, so, I could not translate
It's a shame that MSDB din't updated the INFO with the MS4/5/6/7'S Informations...

"Ptolemaic Sarubia", huh? Wow... Real imaginative... Sarcasm ends here(No offense).
As for MSDB not updating their info section, I don't think it's going to happen with MS7 info anytime soon, considering SNK/Playmore hasn't released any concept art of the game yet.
But back to business. Today's sheet is... another old sheet of mine updated and re-organized?
You better believe it. The SV/III "Black Hound" from MS5 this time. 'Cause that sheet was long overdue for an update.
First of all, in the original sheet you may notice an incomplete crawl animation(9 frames? Weren't they 20?). Also, there were lots of frames(Most of which were unused in-game) that I missed altogether the first time. This update, however, has the full crawl anim and the missing sprites. Finally, I might add, because I couldn't bare to see it so incomplete.
Also, as a bonus, I've included some edited sprites. Mainly extensions of the Run Start/Stop and Jump animations.
As always, check the first post for the updated sheet.
...And before anybody asks('Cause I know someone will), the joke in the credit tag(In the tag pic area) goes about the voice-acting in Metal Slug 3D. Give a listen to Fio's voice, and tell me what do you think. Over and out.

Metal Slug 3D confuses me - Why didn't they actually release it over here, when the voice acting is already in full english?
Great rip!
