Nevermind.
Okay Then could you C+C the new shading?
Okay I tried editing your sprite to give you a better idea of what you need to do...but I got a little carried away I think lol. Don't think he looks too much like a maui statue anymore now... lol
When you're working on stuff like this, you always gotta think details.the smallest touches are what make great pixelarts great. I even got rid of a few unnecessary colors as well.

Get rid of that black outline and apply sel-out with a lighter outline. Change the colour of the background/add background.
Bad, Bad Kaikimi if you keep doing bad stuff your own moai will get you. Na, JK it's awesome. My only question why is so good? Now to you Chris. What does sel-out means? I'm learning how to shade so I started shading this box on some different lightsources Here they are:
Sel out is selective outlining, its where you color the outline with a particular color instead of black to give some depth. If you want to learn more i'd suggest looking at this

Thanks Kaikimi I'll look into that. Here's something I did because I was really bored. Hope you like it. I know the outline is a bit jagged but I'll fix it later. I'll also try sel out in it later.

First Time using sel-out, I like it hope you like it too.
