Well, this is my first attempt at customs for the site. These are just some items that could be put into an old style LoZ game. It's done by my standards but I'm open to suggested add ins. Do not suggest the candle, boomerang, raft, ladder, or any other item that was in the original LoZ. I'm open to criticism so don't be afraid to say this sucks but please provide a good reason why.

Why doesn't it work?!?!?
Code:
[img]http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/oo153/RandomReaper15/LOZcustomitems.jpg[/img]
The sheet is basically unusable because you saved it as a jpeg. NEVER use the jpeg filetype. Only use PNG.
edit- I see the problem. You saved it as a bmp originally and photobucket converts bmps to jpgs. Go back and resave the bmp as a png and reupload it.
thnx. I'll try that again.

I don't get it. It won't work! Ugh!!!
Please. I need help. Not even what Vipershark told me worked. Why won't it work?
When you want to put up an image you don't use the HTML code between two [img] (btw, for the end one you should use [/img]) use the Image code the one on the very bottom. If you do it turns out like this
(for some reason it looks smaller on my comp, but you get the point)
And protip, if your sprites are less than 25% of the sheet, with the rest filled with explanations of what things are, you may need to go back to the drawing board.
Original creations aren't allowed on tSR.
Well I did ask for item suggestions so suggest away.
And also, why is there a customs section then? The sprite posting rules said that if enough people like it, a custom sprite may be submitted. It's still a work in progress.
Oh, by the way... I suggest you use Tinypic. No, really! It´s awesome, because it´s so quick.
mozzy that lounded like a dictator suppressing creatvity or something. Just the way you said, i know you´re right
*freezes in desperation*
I need item suggestions not, was that a program suggestion? I've never heard of tinypic.
Customs =/= Original Creations.
I don't recall there being a "Pink Sword" in any Zelda game, since it isn't based on anything official, it isn't submittable.
I remember someone making an excellent Baby Waluigi sheet, he tried to submit it, but since there's never been a baby Walugi before, he wasn't allowed to submit it. I'm pretty sure the same sort of thing happened when someone tried to submit a Sonic -Mario Kart sheet.
Hmph. I can delete what doesn't exist but the whole reason I posted this was for item suggestions from Zelda games. I haven't gotten a single one.
Well, you could make a few of the swords from the best LoZ game ever : Majora's Mask.
Razor Sword
Gilded Sword
Oni-Link's Sword
Then there's the Lens of Truth, all the masks, Mirror Shield, Din's Fire, Nayru's Love, Farore's Wind, so on and so forth. Just start opening strategy guides and make the items. And I do suggest you put in a significant bit more effort. You're actually doing quite poorly at emulating the style.
For starters, if you really want to do well by the NES Zelda's style, you ought to remember that the limitations of the day limited how many colors you could use. And not just number of colors, but WHAT colors you had available. Check out the items on the tSR site, you'll notice that in total the items had a specific 16 colors allowed. Use those colors, if you're truly aiming for authenticity, which you seem to be, after all, why would you make such poor low-bittage if you weren't intentionally trying for authenticity and mistaking limitations for low quality.
Go on, get to work then.
Thanks for the help. I'll be sure to that although, as popularity would state, Ocarina of time was truly the best. I mean no unkindness to you or your prefrences. The masks were pretty awesome. The Ocarina of Time is just better.
