The metal gear customs section is horribly undernourished. I thought I'd take a shot at doing something metal SLUG styled, so I thought the number one candidate was a Metal Gear; Rex, to be specific.

Like most Metal Slug sheets, the robot is in pieces. (always so many parts) So if you do actually use it, you will have to put it together.

I made it specifically for a game Im putting together, though, so it has three attacks; a laser (no immature comments about its position please), machine-gun eyes, and rockets (fly up, then barage down).

All comments and (constructive) criticisms welcome!
It's a good attempt, but there's not nearly enough detail for it to be in the Metal Slug-style.
Fawk.

I wanted to be the first to do this.

But nooooooo, I was to lazy.

Wait, I can't see it. I keep getting a 404.

Thanks,

The sprite has good shape, but its not big enough. REX was [huge]. And as said above, the shading is not even close to Metal Slug.

Good start, but it needs some tweeking.

Thanks; i was aware that it was it isn't huge enough, but if it was any bigger, it wouldn't actually fit on the (neogeo) screen. Also, for the shading; any suggestions on what need fixing up?
More antialiasing, and it needs to have more of a metal look to it, as well as having the shading look a lot more consistent.

Thanks
The outlines are too prominent all around the sprite to fit in with other Metal Slug gigantors.
