Well, I love innovation, especially with Pokémon. But not only that, but you have clearly defined that this is an alternate Pokémon universe where Pokémon are not as harmonious as they are in "our" alternate Pokémon universe. So I do not understand why people don't seem to understand this, it makes perfect sense.

What I like though, is that this seems like it is going to be a modern feudal Japan, which is....awesome. My jaw dropped when I saw Gyarados' armor, and partisan (Gyarados is my favorite Pokémon). But yeah, I love the concept for this. I really do, and I applaud your creativity.

I will be watching this very attentively!

This is an interesting concept that may have to be explored.

A possible idea for Metapod Armor
Included is a helmet, breastplate, boots, and a shield (Because Metapod is a very defensive Pokemon )
