I just think the head is too small .-.
I think the hair should come out more because it would then match with other sprites you have done

P.S. I kinda think the same about the head, a little bit too small

Oh hey, two things:

First of all we have a new piece of character art to share with you guys: Sapphire!

What's more, we want to start working on getting the sprite style down for the battle system. It's something I've not looked at yet. Battles are turnbased with an isometric camera, similar to the style used in Breath of Fire (http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/br...sheet/6715) and to a degree, Shining Force (http://www.spriters-resource.com/genesis/sf2/sheet/1901).
Any suggestions pertaining to how this style should go down will be appreciated. Can be completely different to the Overworld style if need be.
may's sapphire's "pigtails" (and the rest of her hair, now that I look at it) should be just a tad bit longer

also where is ruby/emerald in all of this
I think a Fina Fantasy Fight Style (Side Battle, no Isometric...) Would be great... Or something on Pokémon Battle Perspective...
Except it's isometric and that's not changing (this was confirmed forever and a day ago between the devs). Side on is boring shit, and Pokémon style would be too obvious.

sapphire actually somewhat resembles her anime/game counterpart, but blue is... bad.

My bad, with all the Skullgirls work I've been doing on top of administrating PxC, I've been kinda distracted >____>

Considering Blue's design in the manga was pretty sketchy, and not especially convertable to medival aesthetics, the costume was pretty mush revamped from ground up. Her hairstyle stays the same, though.

Hey, it's looking good to me. The shading on the hair looks slightly pillowy, but that's about it. What don't you like about it? D=
