...Not much effort put into it. It's just a copypasta of a bunch of pictures, very poorly made. White anti-alias in a purple background, which pixels are all broken, and awful pixel-art, text doesn't convince, etc.
And no, it wouldn't be cool if it were real.

that s is so not in style that it looks like you just pasted it on in mspaint

the screenshot on the back of the box is awful.
so is the rest of it.

It needs serious work.

I'd have to agree with everyone else.

It just doesn't sell to me as a DS box art realistically

I know, it's not very good. I just decided to make it one day.
And:
1. I didn't use MSpaint
2. the text is the text on pokemon XD

In order for the boxart to believable it's gotta have a little more effort put into it

when you're working graphic design for a game developer and you're asked to make a draft the game's boxart, you usually want to make boxart that will make people want to buy the game
