Really interesting style.
The ankles are WAY too skinny though, imo. Make them fatter by a pixel and they'll still keep the effect you have going on but without looking painfully fragile.
The skin needs a better palette too. The bug things look really good, especially the one with the cloud(?) on its neck.
Yeah, it's a cloud, and thank you. If you have any better skin palettes that would be amazing.
The problem with the skin is that the shades don't have enough contrast. Make the shades contrast more and it'll look better.
Okay, I'll try that, I don't really like his hair either... I wanna change it, but to what... :\

Well Tyvon said it all i love the style you got going on good spriting improvement i see, I agree with the hair perhaps you can make spikes or mohake or regular your choice the one you got now is a little odd.
I changed his hair, tell me what you think. + New overworld sprites.
