As for the star in the chest, I don't think it's such a big deal to have it. Maybe you could have something that can be pasted over it if people don't want him to have it?
Cortez is awesome as well. Is his hat turned toward the "camera" like that or does it face the front of his head?

Yeah, that was similar to my comment.

Nah, Cortez's hat is correct. It's turned about 45 degrees.

The detail on his skull is simply to make him look more appealing past the 'flat' aspect.

This topic makes me feel insignificant, in a good way. It inspires me to do more and try harder.
