The VG Resource

Y'know, I think a lot of the members here have valid ideas that could be used to better the running and efficiency of both the message board and the main site in general. In order to emphasise that we value input of this nature I think it'd be a great idea to set up a thread where members can post their ideas on the running of tSR.

It'd be like... a Suggestion Thread or something. Why don't we have one of those already?

We toyed with this idea. I just don't think we've gotten around to it yet.

Oh, while at it, what about one section for Master System/Game Gear instead of putting it together with "Other Systems"? 9_9

I agree Ulti. I did a count a while ago and it came to 74 games while the others did not have as much (the only ones close are N64 with 22, Wii with 13, Wonderswan with 12 and NGPC with 10).

If it keeps up, the Other Systems section is going to be swamped with them.

Yeah, we had a similar problem before when the "Others" category was overflowing. We could probably nip it in the bud now.

Hmm. I understand. I'll talk to Sephy later about how we can go about moving sections easily. Once that's sorted, there's no problems.

Say I was wondering if the customs section will be changed sometime. I proposed several ideas and I was wondering if any of them will be considered.

I just thought It'd be really helpful if you somehow let that person know if you've rated them or not. Its best for people with large reps, so you don't have to look through every page to check.

If you're looking at the reputation area under the date they joined, and see a dot by it, that'll let you know you've rated them or something.

I've been thinking this for a while now, but why don't we rename the fangame forum to game development? I mean fan games just seems very limiting.

I made a topic about it earlier in there without realizing we had this thread, but yeah I think it would probably help that forum gain a bit more attention as well.

I agree with Kaikimi's idea.

Say I was wondering instead of giving the customs section just a plain old list we give them these kinda icons:

Yes, this.

That would make it so much easier to find them.

Right now there's no option to add an image to the link in the section. I'll have to wait for Dazz to sort it out/give the ok to do anything.
