The music on the default theme is delightful, Is there anyway we could incorporate some sort of community music.. thing
into the site? Like something that plays original tracks submitted by members of the forum itself?
It would be kind of neat to listen to music made by the forum goers without having to hunt it all down and constantly pull tabs
to change songs.
but it would be boring to listen only to my music all day long
I thought it would be relavant to have a "view today's posts" link to the the TSR Go Mobile theme, just like the desktop version. Some times you want to see what was posted while you were gone but can only find the latest posts. It would make things smoother.
I can probably suspect what the response will be but I thought I'd throw this out there anyway (before I forgot again >>),
is there a reason we don't have an extra template for icons like these,
to tell people what are archives? I think it'd be a neat feature. I know it's RTB's thing but I just wondered why/if it had to be just his.
I also am wondering where he got that little zip icon to stick on there anyways.
I agree with this, it would be cool to know what is and isn't a sheet.
The only problem is that I doubt anyone would bother to go through all the sheets on the site to check which are archives and give them these icons, so some archives would still have a sheet icon. I would replace all of mine, though.
I believe we already have plans to force a zip image over icons on the new system...
The new site update is the most glorious and beautiful work of ass I've ever seen, but one thing nitpick I'd like to make is for full-sizing the sprite sheet view to not have to open a new tab. It kinda gets annoying quickly, especially when going back and forth for stuff.
This is my first post so forgive me if i say something stupid or if this has already been suggested
I recently found out about a website called sketchfab where you can embed 3d models right on a webpage using html and can view and interact with them in your web browser, so i suggest that sketchfab be implemented on this site.
This would let more people enjoy the site by making it more accessible, you could checkout the topology for models and what they look like quickly even if you dont know how to use 3d modeling programs!
It would still take some effort to make sure all the textures work correctly and upload them to sketchfab though so i would like to help with that.
here is an example of what it would be like, so what do you think?

P.S. i forgot to completely fix the transparency on some of the materials in that model but i definitely know how to do it.

Looks like it has some major drawing issues, though it'd be useful for certain people to reference for example.
I was curious if TTR would be getting any new console sections anytime soon, considering how simple it is to rip from DS games or N64 games?

It's easy enough, I'll be working on splitting the sections up soon.
(EDIT: Done!)

Wow, that was quick! Thanks!
I do have a complaint about the new system... and I was kind of holding back on it since its a bit petty, but it has begun to really irritate me and clutter up my tab bar...
The large sheets being scaled down... I don't like it one bit... Actually one of the reasons I started using TSR was because my old sprite site had this same problem.
The scaling adds an unnecessary amount of extra clicking to see the sheet. Its kinda hard to see if a sheet is going to be useful if I can't see it at full size, and I don't want to have to do extra things just to get what should have been there from the start... It's like windows asking if you REAAALLY want to perform this action 4 times before letting you just close a program.
Is there any way to get an option to go directly to the fullsize sheet when clicking on a sheet icon?
My tab bar has too many tabs already and most of them are things I need.... and also I can't simply use the back button to close them and go back to the original game listing...
I'm not asking you to do away with the feature altogether I'm sure there's one person out there that will be furious if you did... but... with every added click I have to go through to get to what I'm after, the likelihood of continuing to use any product diminishes... so is there a way you could allow us to turn off some "features?"
Please don't post the same thing twice, Petie has already responded to you in the submissions are open thread and I assume they'll fix it as soon as they can.
On the main submit page, it would be nice if we could have a list of the games to which we already have submitted a sheet in the last month or so. That page is rather blank anyway when you have no sheet in queue.
