That's been suggested already lol, they'll get to it when they can...
Sorry! My bad!
No worries, it's easy to miss in this big thread, just tossing it out there~
hey, can VGR get a theme similar to the DYKG theme but like
relevant to our interests
(uses pixelart)
(and should be easy to implement i assume as its literally using a background-url instead of background: #FFF)
New themes are very low on our list of priorities at the moment but we'll keep them in mind as we start to finish some of our bigger projects.
Hey um, would you guys be willing to make it so
link text is more distinguishable from the regular text? Or is it hard for just me?
This is what it looks like for me on The VG Resource skin:
Could it be force-bolded or something like that? Maybe links in a different font?

That's really weird because I was using the TTR theme and now the TSOR and both have hardly distinguishable link text:
It's just kind of easy to miss links for me.
Oh wow, you're right. In fact, I just checked and it's the same with the TSR and TMR skins.
I agree then, link text should definitely get a more distinguishable colour.
Chances are, we updated the link color on the default skin and forgot to make that change on the rest. It's late and I don't feel like confirming that at the moment so I'll take your word for it and fix it tomorrow.
I am a new user here and I have a suggestion about the submission of resources
on the site. I thought it might be a good idea to give users a little rep
for submitting sounds, sprite sheets etc. have a number count on their
profile keeping track of the number of submissions the user has submitted.
This would encourage people to submit more often to watch their
rep and submission count rise. leave your comments and tell me what you think.
No.
Reputation is gained by how other members see you act and react to things. If you react negatively and act rude, obviously your rep will be in the negatives.
If you are nice and react to things well, your rep will be in the positives.

What about a submission counter then? If there already is such a counter
then I must have missed it.
Every user that has submitted anything to these sites has a profile page on the site itself which, among other things, tells you how many submissions that user has. For instance, you can see Dazz's submitter profile for tSR
here. This should give you what you're looking for.
