Isn't the Motion Plus supposed to solve that?
I'm growing increasingly convinced that thats going down with Duke Nukem Forever. Even if it comes out before the Wii 2, developers will still pump out shovelware, its not like they've been using the Wii's full capabilities thus far. With it being actually part of the console thats a
bit more pressure to try.
Great. Already coming up with the next console before Zelda: MM and Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon hits the VC? I am so sad now.

MM came out here like a month ago.

They've most likely been 'coming up' with the next console since before the Wii was released :/
besides, just because we're hearing news about it now doesn't mean it'll be out any time soon

Not in America.
Anyway I'm not too surprised. Nintendo always works hard on their next project as soon as they release the one they just completed.
For reference the Western Wii did not contain DVD playback due to the cost of licencing. I think it would put about £20 or something extra onto it in order to allow support.
Yeah, the Wii holds the power to do it - as proven by the number of homebrew DVD playback applications.
You guys, Wii 2/Official Wii HD is old news aside from it being in production, I heard about this long time ago.
Ether way once it's finished and out on sale I'll probably trade in mine just for the graphic change.
Wow, you must not read many gaming articles if you didn't find this till now.

when it was posted seems kinda irrelevant if it's still news to people..
Anyways, yeah the year old is kinda a throw-off but probably doesn't make it any less official, it's pretty much just saying the companies not dead and planning ahead.
I'd just like to see some current gen graphics on the wii already. maybe then people won't settle for some of the shovelware it's getting.
but this is just the ol' 12-year olds only buy games for good graphics policy. Which I'm hoping applies to casuals.
Newer Nintendo systems will always have these things.
1. 4 or 5 Nintendo games like Mario or Zelda.
2. 2000-30000 Imagine Babiez, Tetris Parties, and other Shovelware.
3. Disney Channel shows turned into low-graphic low-budget games, always made before Christmas.
don't forget
4.The rare, but amazingly awesome game made by third parties who actually care (NMH, Madword)
hating games loved by a reasonably large demographic is cool
