that said heres a pic of 2 characters I've gotten overly attached to recently in a style inspired by someone I watch streaming.
Scare Man and Pumpkin Girl,
This is shortly after Scare Mans first job as a Nightmare Hunter, Pumpkin Girl falls head over heels for him and begins following him to his other jobs, eventually Pumpkin Girl starts to fight along side Scare Man and they become a Nightmare fighting Partnership.

So I drew Guy from Tales of The Abyss instead




I thought comically that Ruby wouldn’t like it because I was going to draw him first and then there’s this guy who’s million times more charming than him

there are at least 30 people on these forums that are 10x better than me :C
this just makes me more determined to become better (and also a little discouraged)

it's ok to feel discouraged, but not too much to the point of making you stop drawing. It's just part of the human nature to be intimidated by others but as long as you draw and work on your techniques, everything will be ok

this being said your drawing is nice, im trying to get better at digital art too

The mans face you drew feels much more 3D than the others, but they're all pretty neat

Looks good, but two gripes from me, your lines are too sketchy/broken in the 1st image, practice using less strokes as you go.
and in the 2nd his neck is THICK, makes him look beefed up.

Starting to pick up steam, getting easier to sketch out ideas.
