GTA4 has award winning voice acting and writing inside of a refined GTA engine. In saints row you can throw people.

Really don't care about awards! I'm more concerned about how
actually fun the game is :E
I mean ideally we'd have a well-voice-acted well-written game that was fun too, but if I had to choose between artistry and fun I am totally going for fun.
Saints Row is far from being a good game in terms of how it uses the tech or furthering the medium but it's
fun as hell. GTA might have good writing and acting but the game itself is
sludgy.
Ace combat 6 is a REALLY good one to play.
