I've added the Egg Golem textures and general SFX 2 for SA2. I know I haven't done as many updates as I usually would have, but I've been working on another project that I can't talk about yet. I'm not exactly sure when I'll be able to say more about it although I'm sure you'll find out sometime in the next few months

Hidden Base textures are up. I know its not much, but I'll try to get more up when I can.

do you know where to get the models?

Yes actually. Its not terribly hard to rip them, but they have to be fixed up a bit before they're usable. To be able to rip them, you'll also need an SA2B iso and Dolphin. Nobody has made ever made a converter for SA2 models so they have to be ripped through a process similar to print screen. The most commonly used tool for this is 3D Ripper DX although there are some others like 3D via Printscreen (annoying if you actually want to use the rip) and GameAssasin (a better program than either, but its in Japanese or Korean or something with no translation. Its also kind of hard to find a download for.).

Nice as always - If you ask me the sandy levels in SA2 were really annoying and less fun than the others.

And I never noticed how much ol' Robotnik pasted his head everywhere. I knew he did. Just didn't realise he did it THAT much.

A stray bit of texture is covering the top-left of the Hidden Base sheet.

Sorry about that. Its fixed now.
Yeah that's because they only let you play as mech characters and treasure hunters there. I remember being disappointed on my first playthrough of SA2 when I didn't get to play an outside level in the desert with Sonic or Shadow. The closest thing was Pyramid Cave, but I didn't really enjoy it that much. Besides a few obscure ones like Sand Hill in SA, desert levels were never really in any Sonic games until after Sonic Heroes.

And then they decided to put an outside sandy level in the 360 game which was probably the biggest mistake of all... Well, minus actually making the game I suppose.

Oh god I had the displeasure of playing that game as well. If its not the loading screens its the glitches. I don't think its possible to go through the game without experiencing one glitch or another. If I recall, one of Sonic's upgrades had a bug where you could slingshot straight up out of the level boundaries using a wall. Basically everything about that game sucked aside from most of its level BGM's.
