Mostly I figure they don't need to flap as high as that. Lessening it some will make it look less jerky.
hey Josh r u gonna get round 2 doing the rest of the shinx evos and the vulpix evo line coz they r my fav pokemon
Alright, I'm pretty sure I got it now...I agreed with GrooveMan that I went a little over the top with the Petals flipping up, so I lessened it a lot:
I think this way it gets it's point across without overdoing it
Finished making Spinarak:
I might take a break for a day or two, and I haven't decided on what I'm going to make next, so no hint yet either...
is it me or is the back to big
Finished making a Surprise sheet, Nincada:
Next up for Remake is Onix
And Next up is the biggest un-evolved Pokemon to learn Splash
Nincada's brown claws almost seem kinda pillow shaded.
And the next Pokemon is Wailmer, right? He's gonna be a big one.
I notice that quite a few of the animations you post are pretty jumpy. Is that the slow speed of the animation or do you not have enough frames?

Hmm...they're not, but I have them sort of AA'd (That's how the Official Sprite has them...) I'll try to fix it, though
Yeah, the next Pokemon's Wailmer

You know, That's the exact reference Video I used...I don't know why I made the run like a normal 4 legged Animal, rather than a bug...I'll change it

Well, I guess it depends...For the Slower Pokemon (like the Venusaur I posted) It could be because the animation's slow, but I guess I could always add another 'Push up' frame to the runs(Since that's usually what people say is jumpy), at least for the bigger, and slower Pokemon. In General though, the runs are supposed to be fast-paced...
Edit: Fixed, I think:
The only thing I can think of to make Nincada's 'Arms' not look odd is get rid of the lightest shade, It doesn't look right at all, IMO
Sorry for the double-post, but I just noticed an Error I made on Charizard, and fixed it:
Apparently, when i fixed the neck of the one pose in the idle, I forgot to reconnect one of the back wings
