The VG Resource

Here's what I'm working up for the current challenge. Something simple that I can get done in a reasonable amount of time.



Green character is intended to be Lief whilst the blue character is my own personal character. Not much to go on, I know, but at least it's something.

The colours are not intended to follow GBC limitations, nor will the background tiles when I get around to them.

Isn't Lief blonde ? õ.O
In anime it was...
But you can do everything, there is no picture in the book of him ...

This is a children's book?

Yeah, it does look very GBC.
Waiting for more.

In the books, Lief actually had black hair. So really, the anime took some liberties with the character designs.

Oh yeah, wait I remember now, Deltora Quest. Those seven gems on the Belt of Deltora or something, right.

Well I read them back when they were first released in 2001. That was back when I was 9. I thought they were a good read, though I probably didn't understand some of the themes in the books.

Anyway, I've tinkered with Lief's hair slightly, and I'm now working on Barda and Jasmine. Should have an update soon.

Noup, but the storyline is complex for a kid.. I think..

Anyway they look very nice and very GBC.
