I picked it up again after a month, and I definitely don't remember the Cyclops's near the Golden Pyramid being able to take you out in three hits at about 10 hearts. Holy shit.
I still love this game despite how many times I get my ass kicked in it.
I got LttP when I was really young, like 6 or 7 years old and it was insane as HELL for me.
I have never actually beat this game

That puzzle in the ice temple with the block you have to push is a pain in the ass. I always did Misery Mire first so I could get the cane to make a block.

Is this bizzarro world in this thread? I could understand if you were griping about the first game, it had no direction in it, or Master Quest for it's ramped up difficulty.
But... complaining about LttP difficulty is like complaining about Wind Waker difficulty.
I play this game on virtual console and didn't take me that long to beat. It took me less than a week.
