here's a little something i made from scratch, not sure if i did it right, but meh.
and also, i think the backgrounds pretty fitting atctually.

I wasn't sure what to do with the "front" of the coat, so I just made it a long line.

I think you toned it down from previous versions? Too lazy to look.

It has the airhump.
I literally copied the legs off the left sprite and stuck them on the body of the right one.
The left legs are just edits of the right one's legs.
The jacket is just covering up most of the hips.

Well I see they were good for something.
I'm still thinking of editing some thing in those two...

Actually a coat that's long like that wouldn't fold up so much in the back. I made a quick edit to show you a bit of what I'm talking about.

I have yet to see a single sprite made my someone other than 1up that's is actually in style.

Oh yeah, and edits/traces don't count.

Yeah some people did achieve the style like Shawn and nintenspriter but mostly everyone else failed at it. Keep up the amazing work 1up and tell me what system is this going to be on cause I need to buy whatever I may need to play it. The graphics are awesome I hope the story and everything else is of the same quality.

everyone who has made a sprite up to this point(with the exception of lan and shawn because they actually helped make the style so they know what the fuck they're doing) has left out two important parts of the style

1. competence in choosing oversaturated colors
2. highlights
