Darkwing Duck was based on this guy, which I still cannot decide if it was a good or bad thing.

Batman was based on this guy, and also on Crimson Avenger, The Spirit and many heroes of the time. Not a bad thing if you ask me :p

Darkwing Duck was a last minute replacement for Donald Duck's heroic alter ego, aka Paperinik (also known as Phantom Duck, Patomás or Duck Avenger.)
Imagine your fondest memory of DarkwingDuck, and multiply it for 100: that equals to Paperinik's greatness.
Interesting rips, btw.

I was never too found of Disney comic books. Maybe it was because the ones I got when I was a kid were boring
