You'll have to understand that certain terminology is the norm, edit instead of modified, custom is completely from scratch, ect...
I can't really see any shading, you need more contrast, and the chest fur changes colours on the sheet.

Yes it is another edit, lets not have this argument again. It's a matter of helping razor get better.
What bothers me is that while he's standing the white portions of his hand have a black outline, yet the other portions of his white colored for his spines and such are not given the outline. And when he runs that black outline dissapears from the hands. I suggest a bit more consistency.
Don't take this the wrong way, but if you're aiming to improve your spriting abilities, do customs. They won't look as good and will have a lot of flaws, but then we can really help you out in the way of pointing out where your flaws are and then you can work on them. You can keep going edits, however heavy they may be, but working on your weak areas can really help you improve overall.

i really only brought it up because in his last topic he mentioned only posting a recolor to show how 'cruel we can be' or something
which i took as meaning he was going to do customs from now on

Another issue I'd like to point out is the palette; it needs more contrast. This is most evident with the blues. Unless you can actually clearly define the colours used at 1x zoom, you have a problem.
But yes, I agree with what Zee said. I know you're probably getting sick of it after recent events, but customs will reveal your own personal weak points rather than mistakes you made whilst editing.
