Puchi Eva Evanglion @ Game
Going camping for the next few days, so there will be a small break in updates until the beginning of next week.
So, if the angels are in this game (aside from the more obvious ones) who do the more human-looking ones represent?
@Davias:
Unfortunately, there aren't any roms for DSi Ware games, so it makes ripping from the games near impossible (or at least I haven't found a method yet).
Although, instead of DSi Ware, the Gamecube version of the game is quite feasible to rip from. The only setback is that the majority of the sprites are in pieces, so you would have to piece them together. (Dolphin works excellent for Gamecube games)
Aren't the sprites from the DSi version the same as those from the GBA version (the one that comes along with the
Link to the Past port)? Hell, I think it might even be the same game (although I haven't played the GBA version).
I bet that'd be easier to rip than the Gamecube version.
I think so, Barubary developed some fancy tools for DS games =)
It's a pity there's no rom on the internet.
uploaded!

Donkey Kong Country Returns (Other Systems)
Just a few quick rips while I finish up Keroro RPG and Shining Force 2. Plus I've been meaning to rip from this game for a while.
I like that Shark one. Since i didn't bother to unlock the gallery. it looks like a troll face
Brilliant!

Donkey Kong Country Returns
Got them.
Played DKC Returns, unfortunately it has nothing of the original. It's an okay-game with DKC battered on it.
The SNES one had way more atmosphere, it was dark and menacing but also bright and peaceful. And it had no cheap Super Gorilla who's doing the whole level for you. Even Cranky is toned down, now he's just a clerk with no personality. But the biggest flaw in this game is still the cartoony atmosphere and the over-the-top enemy design like the giant gorilla-eating plants.
You can do that with every other game, but when I'm reading DKC on a cover, I want something of the original and not a completely different approach.
