I thought a recolor was when you took changed the colors of an existing sprite. This one seems to be at the very least a heavy edit because I don't think I've seen its base before.

the lines are good, and though youve seemed to shade the folds well, the outline of the cape doesnt match the folds youve shaded

do not dither leather.

fix the anatomy and pose, specially arms and legs.

fix the sword.

I think I should redo it bigger, rid of the dither, and make the head smaller with more hair.

Post all your sprites on one topic, no need to use more space than necesary.
