If the user wants to post an edit or a recolor or any sprite, said person must post also a link to the original sprite whom he used as a base, and give proper credit if the sheet used was ripped by someone thats not him(incluiding non finished sheets).
seems a fair deal to me, and i don't think i have seen such thing in the general rules.
Zee agrees with this, it's only fair, since the rippers put a lot of effort into making those rips.
Seems like a good idea. That way we can gauge if it's a good edit or not.

I think it's more about the artists who originally made the sprites.
But yea, I agree with this.
Good idea in theory; no one's gonna remember in practice.
Besides, if it's a bad edit you can tell (in which case you might as well link it yourself)
Editing customwork without credit is pretty much stealing and would be dealt as such.
we're the ones to remind the poster to provide a link to the original sheet, if he didnt. stating this as a rule provides a "legal" backup for this(just in case someone goes with that stupid "ill do when ill finish it" excuse)
