This is just my opinion, but in the up tilt, the arms are too long.
They are supposed to be. If uve ever played brawl you know that body parts get bigger during attacks.
ive been working alot on ness but not posting the updates, so heres some of the new stuff. Ive mostly been spriting item animations:
Here is ness holding and walking, throwing heavy objects (barrels, crates, etc)
-hold
-walk
-throw up
-throw foward
-throw down
Fixed this:

and heres examples of all of them:
Some of those animations are pretty bad, especially the walking with item animation. It's just not fluid. Clapping is also pretty bad, he does not look like he's really clapping, I couldn't even tell those were hands at first.
Any better?
And about the clapping, dont exxagirate. They are obviously hands. I mite redo it anyway since im running out of stuff to sprite. Its almost ready for submisson. Ive got to make climbing a ladder, swimming, and maybe walking through SSE door.
That's even worse. Its smoother, but it doesn't look like he's carrying something heavy. The other one was far more interesting to look at. That doesn't mean the animation doesn't need work. And, btw, it doesn't look like hands. Also, that motion looks nothing like clapping.
he diddnt say the walking while carrying something heavy looked bad. He said the carrying item looked bad. (two seperate things) That one i fixed is for carrying something normal. (fire flower, super scope, etc)
And alright ill fix the clapping.
