Oh, and don't include the status window, the 255 is from cheating...
The first Lufia game starts with the prologue involving Maxim's party (with them kicking all of the Sinistral's asses), then time skips to the Hero's party which is the party you use for the rest of the game.
There might be a better way to explain it with another game, but none are coming to mind.
The first Lufia game is the sequel of the second one. To make it even more confusing, the first game starts exactly where the second game ends.
They even ported it to the Sega Genesis under a modified name, so the more you try to understand things, the more confused you will feel.
I'm playing through the Japanese version also since some sprites are different (4 so far).

Hey DB, can you post a couple screenshots?

Yes, there is a Sega CD version of the game (Shin Megami Tensei) also. PC-Engine too.
And I called it Manin instead of Majin or Boss Majin as they aren't actually Bosses but I wasn't sure if having 2 Majin sheets would be a smart move.
I just realized this never made it to the site, unless I overlooked it. Along with the boss sheet and the section icon.

You're missing another sprite of Xagor (Extra Mouths appear on his body when you deal enough damage)
.....damn it, I'll add that when I assemble it, and might as well add what little of the Japanese enemies I've already done.
