I have no clue whatsoever if this is qualified or not, but here goes:
From a SSJ Goku sheet from Super Budoten 3 on the Super Famicom uploaded by majin_vegetto, I edited it to be Vegetto, the potarro fusion of Goku and Vegeta. I don't know if this qualifies or not, since the character wasn't actually in the game. Though it may look like it, it is NOT just a simple recoloring, though some parts were, the gloves and boots were hand-drawn. Of course, this is nothing compared to what professionals do, but I feel this is good.

This remindes me of the early 2000's. Anyways, you should at least have given him some custom stances and custom face expressions, since this character was basically a jackass who loved to brag in combat.

He's not made up. But it is an edit. Edits killed my parents.

Yeah, giving an existing sheet gloves and boots isn't exactly a high-level edit.
