The whole reason my Starmie is on my team is because I hated the following:
Garchomp (lol, Uber tier)
Infernape (lol, Blaziken is better)
and Gyrados (lol, intimidate)
I'm debating finding a pokemon to kill the following:
Gengar
Lucario

really annoying
he also has a heatproof bronzong that knows toxic, confusing attacks, and has extreme defense
basically, you can't hurt it, but it needles you
so annoying
Gengar is walled by other Ghost types (especially ones with a Psychic move), or anything with Protect.
Heatproof Bronzong will die to EQ. And it's far more common than say, Flamethrower. And despite that, A Wil O Wisp will still take it down. It's immune to Poison, but not Burn.

Blaziken is better in allmost everything except defence stats, but Infernape's speed is so much better, it's base stats are a bit higher than Blaziken's, and the difference is so minor, Infernape allways get the job done.
Oh, and maybe heat Rotom for the Gengar/Lucario problem?
Or maybe Xatu..
He's using water types only, genius.
If your Starmie outspeeds Gengar, a Psychic will take it down pretty hard. Failing that, getting a Swampert with Waterfall/EQ takes damage from little except Solarbeam/Grass Knot - can Waterfall Gengar through sheer force, and EQ will tear holes in Lucario.

I don't understand then, why was he talking about infernape and garchomp..?
They're common pokes used in competitive play; so it's a good idea to take counters for them when playing competitively yourself.
why do you guys think that flying = bird
i would be a flying-type leader
but that doesn't use birds
Charizard, Gyarados, Aerodactyl, Gliscor, Golbat
hell yes
6 pikachus will beat the shit out of any team with the aid of my friend the script writter.
and my faith in love, friendship and merchandaising-
Garchomp isn't taken into account anymore on the competitive scene thanks to him being dubbed Uber by Smogon's standards.
Nowadays the likes of Scizor, Metagross, Tranitar, and Blissey are the main threats you have to worry about when teambuilding.
Also lol who seriously uses Heatproof Bronzong?

Zangoose
look cool?
Normal Type. Some of them suck, but for the most part, they're... normal.
-Blissey (Defense)
-Raticate (Attack)
-A Tauros (for good measure)
-Wigglytuff (Distraction)
Well, I only really know the Pokemon from Kanto and Jhoto.
I don't even need a specific type fuck that
I'd rather go with a variety
Zangoose
Charizard
Umbreon
Spirtomb
Weavile

Blaziken
Blaziken is my least favorite digimon. He is ugly, and who thought a flaming chicken would make a good digimon anyway.
Blaziken is the best flaming cock out there.
Ok, Burn Rooster from X8 is better, but still!
