I stopped watching after it got dumber and dumber. A Starman turns Sonic into Super Sonic? ...and not Invincible Sonic?

Fire Flower turns Sonic into some sort of Flaming Super Sonic and not Fire Shield Sonic?

Sorry that stuff bugs the hell out of me. Also killing off the entire Sonic cast except Sonic and Shadow... unless they really are alive I don't know I stopped watching...

X versions only correspond with boss characters.
I could include "classic" palettes, but I dunno... I'm not a huge fan of adding palettes for designs that have been retconned. It's like saying there should be alternate colors for Koopa to make him orange... which is silly.

I agree, but i have to admit, I enjoy the classic palettes on modern sprites. It's an interesting look imo.
